Warranty & Product Guarantee
At Cape & Co we build garden furniture, parasols and pergolas to stand up to real British weather and years of hosting. We stand behind that quality with a clear product guarantee on everything we sell. If something is not right, we are here to put it right.
Every product is covered from the date of purchase against manufacturing faults and defects in materials and workmanship. The cover period depends on the product, as set out below.
Pergolas
Our Meridian pergolas are made up of several parts, each with its own cover period:

Garden furniture
Our garden furniture is covered by a 2 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.
Parasols
Our parasols are covered by a 1 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.
All guarantees run automatically from the date of purchase, with no need to register your product, and apply to the original purchaser. Please keep your proof of purchase, as we will need it to process any claim.
What is covered
Within the guarantee period we cover faults that are down to us, including:
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Structural faults under normal domestic use
- Components that fail to perform as intended through no fault of your own
Where a valid claim is made, we will repair or replace the affected product or part, or offer a suitable alternative, at our discretion.
What is not covered
Like most guarantees, ours is designed for those rare moments when something genuinely goes wrong with the product itself. It does not cover:
- Everyday wear that builds up through normal use over time
- Damage from accidents, knocks or spills, or from weather conditions beyond what the product is rated to handle
- Issues caused by missed or inadequate cleaning, care or seasonal storage
- Faults that come from not following our assembly or care guidance, or from a product that was not fully or correctly assembled
- Slight differences between batches, and the gradual softening of fabric and finish colours that comes with life outdoors
- Use in a commercial, rental or hire setting, unless we have agreed it with you in writing first
How to make a claim
If you think you have a warranty issue, email our team with your order number and a few photos of the fault. We will assess it and come back to you with the next steps.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer and does not affect them.
