Product Overview

Designed to elevate any space, this furniture piece combines modern aesthetics with functional design.

Your pergola works hard all day. This is what makes it work all evening. Twenty metres of warm white LED runs around the inside of the roof, and the structure stops being something you sit under and starts being a room you actually want to stay in once the sun has gone.
Most outdoor strip lighting gives you a line of bright dots. This does not. It uses COB technology, 288 tiny LEDs packed into every metre behind a frosted silicone diffuser, so what you see is one unbroken ribbon of light following the line of the roof. It is the difference between fairy lights and the lighting in a good restaurant.
The colour is a warm 3000K, the same easy warmth as a well chosen indoor pendant, and it renders at CRI 90+. In plain terms that means your teak still looks like teak, your cushions keep their colour, and the food on the table looks like food. Cheap outdoor lighting quietly drains the colour out of everything it touches. This does the opposite.
It also runs straight off the mains. Low voltage strips need a transformer, and over a long run they fade noticeably from the first metre to the last. This one is as bright at metre twenty as it is at metre one, and there is no driver box to find a home for in the guttering. One plug, and you are done.
Twenty metres covers any pergola in the Meridian range with room to spare, and there are cutting marks every 50cm so you can trim it to your exact run. The silicone body bends almost double, so it follows the guttering around all four corners without kinking or leaving a gap at the joins. Fixings are included.
A few things worth knowing before you order. This is a fixed warm white, so there is no colour changing and no dimming: one considered setting rather than a hundred you never use. The strip itself is IP65 rated for covered outdoor use, but the plug is not, so keep that sheltered and dry. And you will need a mains socket within reach, as the power cable runs 1.8m from the end of the strip.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, they are designed to be compatible with our Meridian pergolas. The strip installs discreetly into the guttering and bends around beams and posts, so the light blends into the structure with no visible bulbs.

The LED strip has an IP68 weatherproof rating and is built for covered outdoor use under your pergola, so it handles rain and splashes with no problem. The plug and power adapter are not weatherproof, so these should be kept sheltered and dry.

Yes. The lights run on standard 230V mains with a 1.8m cable from the end of the strip, so plan the run to finish near a sheltered outdoor socket. Most people position the end of the strip at the leg closest to the house.

No. The strip plugs straight into a standard UK socket, so there is nothing to wire in and no transformer to mount. If you trim the strip to length you will need to seal and insulate the cut end, and the supplied instructions take you through it step by step. If you would rather someone else handled it, speak to us about installation when you order.

No. This is a fixed warm white at 3000K, chosen because it is the temperature that flatters an outdoor dining space rather than washing it out. There is no app, no remote and no colour changing. If you specifically want colour changing lighting, get in touch before you order and we will talk you through the options.

Yes, for every size we sell. A 3m x 3m has a 12 metre perimeter, a 4m x 3m has 14 metres and a 6m x 3m has 18 metres, so even the largest leaves you slack to reach the socket. Cutting marks every 50cm let you trim off whatever you do not need.
